Admirers of such art as ballet have surely heard a lot about the star of the Ukrainian stage – Natalia Matsak. During recent years she has been shining all over the world and nobody has been left cold to her creative work. Her biography looks like a mosaic of victories in different contests. She always packs concert halls.
Natalia Matsak is an Honoured Artist of the Ukraine, a principal of the Ukraine National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after T.G. Shevchenko. She has been rejoicing the admirers of the Ukrainian ballet with her performances since 2000. Her repertoire includes tender Odetta and insidious Odilia from “Swan Lake” Ballet, young and brave Masha in “Nutcracker”, cheerful and full of life Kitri in the ballet "Don Quixote". She brilliantly played the part of Medora - a beautiful bondmaid in “The Corsair" ballet, amazingly expressed all the emotions and feelings of Carmen in “Carmen-suite”. Her part of Raimonda in the ballet of the same name has won the audience, as well as the image of Zobeida in "Sheherezada", the parts of Nikia and Gamzatti from the ballet " Bayaderka" and other parts.
Natalia was born on the 17th of March in Kiev. She began to go in for dancing when she was four.
Since 1992 till 2000 she was studying in Kiev choreographic school. She perfected her skill with the help of a ballet master and a wonderful private tutor, People's Artist of the Soviet Union Ludmila Smorgatcheva.
